    in one of the comments someone was like, "next time someone tells you they went to bowdoin ask them if that's a community college. the reaction is priceless." i really wanna do that.

    i just read all 367 comments.

    it took almost 200 comments for someone who i think attends carleton to say "hey, what about carleton?" another 50 or so comments later someone said "yeah, carleton is totally annoying," or something like that, and the final word came a bit later when someone said: "carleton is too boring to be considered for this award".

    and that is it. every single other small liberal arts college received actual votes, even mac. no one thinks about carleton, even when discussing small liberal arts colleges. what gives?

    i think the reason we barely got a mention is exactly the reason we went there: less name recognition, but also fewer pretentious assholes. for the most part, we're a campus full of nerds(myself included) who were sold on the smart-but-chill vibe.

    i mean, for fuck's sake, the lens had that lame COKE AT CARLETON article. people at our school were actually scared about that. that's par for the course at all these other schools. that's why we're too "boring" to be mentioned in this poll.
