Earlier in the year, I was reading a blog post about a Joy Division rarity the writer had recently rediscovered deep in his record collection. The song, he said, was recorded between "Love Will Tear Us" apart and Ian Curtis' death, and apparently suggested that the band would have gone in a radical new direction. The post was dated April 1, but I didn't read it till days after, so April Fools pranks weren't at all on my mind. I downloaded the mp3 and was Rick-Rolled in seconds. One of the biggest disappointments I've had in recent memory.
